MyType is strictly an 18+ platform. We have zero tolerance for the exploitation of children in any form. The safety and protection of minors is a top priority.
1. Age Restriction
MyType is designed exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. We enforce this requirement through the following measures:
- Age Verification at Signup: All users must provide their date of birth during account creation. Users under 18 are prevented from creating an account.
- Terms of Service: Our Terms of Service explicitly require users to be at least 18 years old.
- Account Removal: If we discover that a user is under 18, their account is immediately terminated and all associated data is deleted.
2. Zero Tolerance for CSAM
MyType maintains an absolute zero-tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any content that exploits or endangers minors.
- Any content depicting, promoting, or facilitating the exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited.
- Users who upload, share, or solicit CSAM will have their accounts immediately and permanently terminated.
- All instances of CSAM are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies.
- We retain necessary information to assist law enforcement investigations as required by law.
3. Content Moderation
We take a proactive approach to content moderation to ensure our platform remains safe:
- Automated Detection: We use automated systems to detect and flag potentially harmful content, including CSAM.
- Human Review: Flagged content is reviewed by trained moderation staff who take appropriate action.
- User Reporting: We provide easy-to-use reporting tools so users can flag concerning content or behavior.
- Regular Audits: We conduct regular audits of our moderation processes to ensure effectiveness.

MyType cooperates fully with law enforcement agencies in the investigation and prosecution of child exploitation offenses. This includes:
- Responding promptly to valid legal requests for user data
- Reporting all known instances of CSAM to NCMEC as required by U.S. federal law
- Preserving relevant account data when notified of an investigation
- Providing technical assistance to authorized investigations
